You found AmbientLight.com, the fine image site of Davis and Wendy Varner of Odessa, Florida, just outside of Tampa. We're in the process of going through thousands of images and posting our best ones on this web site, along with some of the most interesting stories about our photography adventures.

Davis has been interested in photography since being high school photographer almost 50 years ago! He's a published author with Random House, has developed hundreds of training programs and videos for Fortune 500 companies, and is enjoying this challenge of locating his best shots from over the years. Davis especially likes boats, landscapes, and light after sunset.
Wendy became a serious photographer when she met Davis 6 years ago (through eharmony.com!) and has a good "eye" for composition and light. She especially enjoys photographing wild animals, birds, landscapes, and babies (her favorite is Sicily Mae, their granddaughter). Future photography trips include Patagonia, Hawaii, Northern Italy, and Switzerland.
Together Davis and Wendy offer photography services to the greater Tampa Bay area through Varner Photography for weddings, travel adventures, and special events...and they can't pass up a good studio session with babies! Their site VarnerPhotography.com should be completed in October 2011. Also, if you're visiting the west coast of Florida, stop by the Yellowdog Boutique and Gallery in Matlacha at Pine Island, just a few miles north of Ft. Myers, where they have numerous images displayed.
